$5,000 reward for man wanted in 16-year-old girl’s murder.

Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of 35-year old Larry Peavy, a man accused of sexually assaulting and killing a teenage girl in central Florida. Law enforcement agencies throughout Florida have been searching for Peavy since Nov. 5th. Authorities say Peavy sexually assaulted 16-year-old Aleaya Jackson and her friend.

The second victim was able to notify police of what happened. Not long after, Sumter County deputies found Jackson’s body inside a home in Bushnell. The car authorities believe Peavy was driving was spotted days after the murder in Fort Pierce.

Martin County Sheriff’s Warrants Detectives did receive information that Peavy was spotted in the area of Wright Boulevard and US 1. That information could not be verified. Detectives spent several hours canvassing the area in search for Peavy to no avail.
