32-year-old PSL man resists police; is tased and arrested after misuse of 911 and threats to police

 

Port St. Lucie, Fl- On August 5, 2019, Police identified the 911 caller as Jesus Ramirez.  He was arrested and charged with: Disorderly intoxication, Resist officer, Misuse of 911 and Intimidation- Threat to law enforcement officer.

On August 5, 2019 at around 4:00 pm police responded to 342 NE Genesse Avenue, Port St Lucie. They responded to reports of a male named Jesus Ramirez who repeatedly called 911 alleging to have ‘killed two kids and that they were under his feet’. Also mentioned were threats to police that ‘he was a killer, armed with an AR-15 rifle and police were taking long to respond’.

The investigation revealed police arrived on scene, they saw a male pacing back and forth outside the driveway of the residence (342 NE Genesse Avenue, Port St Lucie,). The male appeared angry and intoxicated. He did not have on a shirt and was holding a beer bottle in his hand. Police identified themselves as commands were given; the male yelled to police that he was armed with a 45-caliber gun behind his back and was going to kill an officer. The male then ran from police, was tased and apprehended. He was not in possession of a rifle /firearm as he told police. While he was being placed under arrest; he was uncooperative and refused to obey lawful commands. No injuries on scene, No weapons were found. No harm to any other persons (kids) occurred.  Jesus was arrested on the above listed charges and transported to St Lucie County Jail.
