28 undocumented people arrested in Fort Pierce

Ft Pierce, Fla- The Department of Homeland Security said it detained and administratively arrested 28 illegal immigrants in Fort Pierce on Wednesday.

Agents executed a federal search warrant at TentLogix and Disaster Management Group located at 1121 DiGiorgio Rd. Both companies are owned by the same co-founders, Gary Hendry and Nate Albers, according to state records.

Tentlogix is a tent rental company that provides large scale items for events. DMG specializes in the design, construction, operation, and management of temporary life support facilities (base camps) throughout the United States and abroad.

The immigrants will not necessarily be deported due to the possibility of human trafficking, according to authorities on scene.

The Department of Homeland Security said the people detained were taken away by bus.

Due to the ongoing investigation, agents are not releasing specifics.
