26-year-old arrested on warrant in connection with armed robbery to Metro PCS in PSL

Port St. Lucie, Fl- JUAN TYRELL GIBSON, DOB 1/10/1993, 451 West 36 Street, Riviera Beach, FL, was arrested on a Port St. Lucie Warrant -August 9, 2019 by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred on July 8, 2019 at the MetroPCS located at 1331 SW Gatlin Blvd, PSL.

Charges for Juan Tyrell Gibson are: Robbery with Deadly Weapon (NO BOND), Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon (NO BOND), Felony Battery (NO BOND), and False Imprisonment (NO BOND).

On July 8, 2019, at around 4:27 PM, Port St. Lucie Police were called to the MetroPCS store (1331 SW Gatlin Blvd, PSL) for reports of an Armed Robbery. During the investigation police learned the suspect entered the MetroPCS armed with a small caliber handgun.  He forced the employee at gunpoint to the back of the store and ordered the employee to open the safe.

Then, he took an undisclosed amount of money as well as several cell phones.  Gibson left the store. He entered the rear passenger side of a black sedan waiting in the parking lot (ongoing investigation for additional suspect / vehicle. On August 9, 2019, Gibson was temporarily booked at the Palm Beach County Jail and was extradited /booked at the St Lucie County Jail on August 13, 2019 where he is currently housed.

He is facing charges committed in Port St Lucie.
