13 yo girl raped twice by SLC Corrections officer

A St Lucie County Corrections officer raped a 13 yo female twice. It was her fear that it would happen again that made her come forward. The young woman gave the police a very descriptive account of the ordeal. The Port St Lucie Police were  able to go into the home and collect the necessary evidence. A DNA sample was obtained. It was a match to Wisben Sanon. The clothes had not been washed. The seminal fluid of Sanon was on the little girls clothing.

Port St. Lucie Police detectives secured warrants and then  located Sanon. He was at the Indian River State College in the  Law Enforcement Academy  Campus Building. This is  located on Avenue D, Fort Pierce, Florida.  Sanon was arrested without incident.   He is being held  on $550,000.00 bond at the St Lucie County Jail.

Sheriff Mascara  put out this statement today regarding the arrest of Deputy Wisben Sanon.

“The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office takes serious all allegations of employee misconduct and as such has worked closely with the Port St. Lucie Police Department in their investigation.  In accordance with Florida Statute, Mr. Sanon is currently on unpaid administrative leave pending the outcome of our internal investigation.  His despicable actions should not characterize all members of the law enforcement profession, nor our agency.  Personally, I am deeply saddened that Mr. Sanon abused his parental role and authority to allegedly commit such a heinous crime,” said Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
