11 cars burglarized in local business parking lot

11 cars burglarized in local business parking lot.

11 vehicles parked in the parking lot of DNB Auto and Boat Repair were burglarized. This happened between the dates of March 17, 2017 and March 20, 2017.

Port St. Lucie Police went to the 1600 block of SE Village Green Drive for reports that 9 unlocked cars and 1 unsecured boat were rifled through by suspect(s). This was on  March 21, 2017. Police noted that 1 locked car was attempted to be burglarized as police found a coat hanger wedged in the driver’s side window.

The police determined that tools were taken from the boat and a guitar was taken from a car.  The tools were not found. The guitar was recovered near a dumpster that was in the parking lot.  It appears that a majority of the vehicles had nothing of value left inside them.

Police are asking if you have any information on this case to call the Port St. Lucie Police Department at (772) 871-5001 or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273 TIPS.
