10 year old child flown to St. Mary’s Medical Center after being hit by white suv in Jensen Beach

Jensen Beach, Fl (treasurecoast.com)- A 10-year-old child was flown to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach after she was hit by a  SUV this afternoon.

This happened around 2:40 p.m. at the 2400 block of Northeast Indian River Drive across from Barbour’s Market.

This writer was stopped the scene right after the accident and offered assistance as nurse. There was a crowd of people helping her including other medical people who stopped to help. I believe these people saved her life as she was bleeding out into a pool of blood. These people held her together until the ambulance and paramedics could come. Her injuries appeared to be extensive.

She was flown to St Marys and is now in surgery.

We will keep you updated. Please say a prayer.

10:08 pm FHP reported she is in critical but stable condition at St Mary’s Medical Center.
