1 suspect arrested in Port St. Lucie home invasion robbery/attempted murder
Port St. Lucie, Fl (treasurecoast.com) – On January 21, 2020, nineteen- year-old Darriell Dalonte Talley of Port St. Lucie was arrested by the USMS Fugitive Task Force on an active warrant out of St Lucie County for the following charges: Home Invasion Robbery and Attempted Felony Murder.
On January 19, 2020, at around 3:31 pm, Police went to the 1800 block of Hickock Terrace for reports of a male victim who had been shot. Police learned the victim was inside of his home when two unknown male suspects entered the home through the unlocked rear slider and began ransacking the home.
The two male suspects demanded money from the victim. A physical fight ensued between the victim and Bryan Andrew Overall. Darriell Dalonte Talley brandished a handgun and fired three rounds, striking the victim on his left arm and back. The victim ran toward the rear of the home. Talley and Overall took off in an unknown direction with the victim’s $200.00 and 100 grams of “Shrooms”.
The victim called 911 and was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The injuries the victim sustained are non-life threatening. No other injuries were reported. No other persons were inside of the home at the time of the incident. The US Marshal’s Task Force located Talley and arrested him.
This case is actively being investigated. Detectives need the public’s help in locating seventeen-year-old Bryan Andrew Overall. Description: Height 5’10”, weight 150 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes. He is wanted in connection to the home invasion robbery with a firearm. Bryan Andrew Overall has active warrants for Home Invasion Robbery with Firearm, Attempted Felony Murder and Burglary of a Dwelling while Armed.
