1 arrest made in Jupiter Island home invasion
Martin County -The Martin County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in the home invasion robbery in Jupiter Island.
Martin County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division, along with Broward County authorities and the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force tracked and arrested the gunman involved in the Home Invasion Robbery that occurred on Jupiter Island in the early morning hours of January 20th. That suspect was also wanted for a Murder that occurred prior to the Home Invasion.
Markell Brown, 23, is facing charges for the home invasion robbery in Jupiter Island. He’s also facing a murder charge out of Lauderhill.
The incident happened at a home on Links Road.
A couple in their 60s were targeted.
Two men believed to be in their early 20s broke into a home early Saturday. They stole jewelry, cash and electronics, the sheriff’s office said.
