West Melbourne Police responded to the parking lot of Walmart (845 Palm Bay Rd) just after 4:00 pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in response to a call of a possible dead body in a vehicle.
The officers located a white Dodge Caravan in the east portion of the parking lot. When they looked inside, they located a deceased white female who has been identified as 53 year old Jyll Elaine Shultis.
Based on the types of items in the vehicle, it appeared Shultis had been living in the vehicle. It also appeared that the body had been there for quite some time. Shultis’ body was turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office as part of this investigation.
Surveillance video revealed Shultis’ vehicle pulled into the parking.
