A month ago this water was turquoise and clear.

So don’t let anyone tell you the water always looks like this. It doesn’t. My friends in Rocky Point told me their child use to swim in the most gorgeous clean clear water here. Look at the photo and see for yourself.

I have the most overwhelming sadness for our river and our lagoon.

Who does this?

We were suppose to get a little discharges and we are getting gates wide open because there was so much water illegally back pumped into the lake.

Illegal.

Some of the people on WRAC board are going full speed ahead with their baloney. It sounds like this: blahblahblah bad people of Stuart you hate the people in west. They are starting their division and this time we are not falling for it. Of course we care about the PEOPLE that live out there. You don’t. But we do. All you care about is corporate profits and corporate welfare. If they have issues they too can talk to SFWMD and ask them why they are not managing the water. Don’t take your frustrations out on us. Place it on the doorstep of the people who are suppose to be doing this job. But this corporate sponsored division has gone on long enough.

If the people on the WRAC board and the Board of Governors of South Florida Water Management cannot figure out how to fix this problem then they are incompetent and need to be replaced.

The citizens of Florida voted for Amendment 1 to buy the land to fix this issue and with fixing that we will save the water of South Florida, save the Everglades and Save the Florida Bay.

Ask yourself why your lawmakers want us to be a fracked filthy wasteland. Say “Self? Why are my lawmakers want us to be a racked filthy wasteland? Why?” Then ask them.

These are known as the Gates of Hell. It is now it is releasing even more water, up to 7600 cubic feet per second. This needs to stop. It take political will. We need honest brokers. What we have now is a lot of dishonest, disingenuous people looking after us. Friends don’t let friends get nasty discharges.

If our elected representatives cannot fix this then they need to be replaced.
