A bond hearing is scheduled today for a Vero Beach man accused of kidnapping a neighbor and beating her husband.
On Sunday, police were called to a 15th lane home where resident David Scoville said he had been assaulted by his neighbor who says Scoville and his wife were loud.
Scoville says Leo Thurston appeared to have a baton like instrument and a small firearm.
Thurston allegedly grabbed Jessica Scoville and left.
Later on, Jessica Scoville flagged down officers after escaping at a nearby park.
Thurston faces numerous charges including battery and kidnapping.
