Vero Beach: Arrests at Dom’s Bar after shots fired!

Two men are facing charges after a dispute in a bar parking lot ended with gunfire. The incident happened early Sunday morning at Dom’s Bar on Old Dixie Highway.

Vero Beach Police responded to a report of gunfire. Witnesses told police a man pointed a silver revolver at two people in the parking lot. The same man then reportedly grabbed another gun and then fired it in the air before leaving the scene with another man in a Dodge Challenger.

Deputies with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office stopped the car a few blocks away and arrested the occupants, Errol Arrowsmith and Avery Kizzy. A search of their car revealed a black semi-automatic handgun, a silver pellet gun, and a small amount of marijuana. Arrowsmith is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of cocaine, discharging a firearm in public, and battery. Kizzy is being charged with battery.
