UPDATE: PSL Police investigating fatal single vehicle roll-over crash.
Port St Lucie (treasurecoast.com)On March 18, 2017 at around 1:14 am, PSL Police went to the 3300 block of SE Southbend Boulevard to investigate a single vehicle roll-over car crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed that 43 year old Carl Ingraham was traveling in a 1998 white Mercury Mountaineer north on SE Southbend Boulevard. Inside the car with Carl Ingraham was his wife, 37 year old Kelli Ingraham (front seat), step son, 17 year old (back seat), and step son, 12 year old Jack Voellm (back seat). As the car traveled north, Ingraham hit a curb on the side of the road. This caused him to lose control of the car sending the vehicle into a roll. During the roll of the car, 12 year old Jack was ejected.
St. Lucie County Fire/Rescue arrived and pronounced Jack dead at the scene. Carl Ingraham, Kelli Ingrahm, and the 17 year old were all transport to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. They weretreated for suspected non-life threatening injuries.
On May 25, 2017, Carl Ingraham was arrested. The charges are DUI Manslaughter, vehicular homicide. He was also charged with DUI impairment with serious bodily injury, Driving While License Suspended, aggravated child abuse, 2 counts of child neglect and child abuse. Carl Ingraham was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail but was later released on $290,000.00 bond on June 17, 2017.
On November 2, 2017, Kelli Ann Ingraham was arrested by St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office on outstanding warrants for Aggravated Child Abuse with Great Harm, Child Neglect-Great Harm, Child Neglect, and Child Abuse-Intentional Act stemming from the fatal crash that occurred on March 18, 2017.
Kelli Ingraham was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail and was released on $80,000.00 bond.
