Stuart PD arrests ex-executive director of The Pointe.

Charges are Burglary and exploitation of the Elderly.

The Stuart Police Department began receiving multiple theft complaints from the residents of The Pointe assisted living facility on SE Ocean Blvd.

Then the Stuart Police Department Detective Bureau opened an investigation and began looking for possible suspects. During the course of the investigation an abundance of evidence began pointing towards the Executive Director of The Pointe.

On April 17, 2017, The Martin County Sheriff’s Office arrested the Director, Serafina Frahm, for burglary. After the arrest, the Stuart Police Department began fielding several more complaints and tips from residents.

Today, Officer Corey Lee obtained an additional arrest warrant for the arrest of Serafina Frahm for the charges of Burglary and Exploitation of the Elderly. In this case, several rings were missing from a resident’s apartment. The rings were of very important sentimental value to the elderly victim. Officer Lee was able to secure the warrant after conducting his investigation.

Stuart Police Road Patrol with the assistance of the Martin County Sheriff’s Office executed the arrest warrant in Palm City. Frahm is being held at the Martin County Jail on a $75,000 bond with these new charges.

The Stuart Police Department is currently investigating several other complaints and additional charges are possible.
