Sheriff Ken J. Mascara is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect that burglarized several convenience stores throughout the Treasure Coast.

“This individual has broken into convenience stores in Lakewood Park, Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie and Stuart between September 2015 and now,” Sheriff Mascara said. “He is a light-skinned, black male, wears all black and has an accomplice that drops him off and picks him up; he is typically in the stores for less than one minute.”

Attached are photos captured from various in-store surveillance cameras.

“The Sheriff’s Office is working collaboratively with the Port St. Lucie Police Department and Martin County Sheriff’s Office to investigate these occurrences and ask for anyone that might recognize this person to contact authorities,” Sheriff Mascara said.

Anyone with information on this incident can call Detective Marcus Sigmon at 772-462-3230. Those who wish to give their tip anonymously and be eligible for a cash reward if the tip leads to an arrest, can contact Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-8477 (TIPS).
