The Roosevelt Bridge goes Pink!

The Roosevelt Bridge goes Pink to support the Fight against Breast Cancer.

It’s a beautiful sight with a purpose. There is a pink glow along the Roosevelt Bridge thanks to Making Strides Against Breast and the American Cancer Society. This project was made possible through the generosity of the Stuart Jet Center and The Capen Family.

Martin County Sheriff’s Marine Sergeant Travis Dykes and Marine Deputy Micheal Joseph helped the Stuart Police Department place 64-pink lenses over the lights along the bridge.

The pink lights can also be seen in city fountains. The lights will glow in support of breast cancer awareness through November 15th.
