Attention residents in the South Martin County/Tequesta area — The Martin County Sheriff’s Office received two reports of residential burglaries. The residential burglaries occurred on SE Island Place and SE Point Terrace.
In one of the burglaries, the suspect gained access to the home through the front door. The second home burglary, suspect entered through the back slider. In both instances, electronics were taken.
When the homeowner on SE Point Terrace arrived home, she noticed a beige two door Ford Pickup, with dark tinted windows, in the driveway. Upon her arrival, the beige Ford Pickup sped away.
Before leaving home, remember to lock all doors/windows and activate your home security system. Please call 911 to report any and all suspicious persons and vehicles immediately.
