PSL Police looking for suspect that may have shot at jaywalkers.

On June 18, 2017 at 7:55 pm, Port St. Lucie Police went to the intersection of NW Irving St. and NW Prima Vista Boulevard for reports of a disturbance.  Once on scene police spoke to a 16 and 21 year old males.  The complainants told police that they were crossing the street in the 200 block of NW Prima Vista Boulevard near Sportsman’s Park.  As they crossed the street they heard someone yell at them from a passing Jeep.

The complainants told police that a white male yelled at them while they crossed the street. He was  wearing a camouflage hat in a silver Jeep Cherokee, with black rims and a spare tire in the back.  The man parked his car at the intersection of NW Curtis and NW Prima Vista Boulevard and retrieved what they believed to be a gun from the back of the Jeep.  The complainants told police that they heard kids yelling from the Jeep “daddy it’s not worth it”.  The two males took off running and heard what they believed to be gunshots coming from the direction of the man in the Jeep.  No one was injured during this incident.

Police interviewed two witnesses who also reported seeing the suspect chasing after the victims and hearing gunshots.

There were  not find any shell casings in the area. PSL Police are trying to locate and identify the suspect.
