PSL Police investigating drowning of a 6 year old boy

  Port St. Lucie Police investigating drowning of a 6 year old boy.

 Port St. Lucie Police went to 5508 NW East Torino Parkway, Peacock Run Apartments today (may 24) at around 3:45 PM. The call was for a drowning.

Preliminary investigation revealed that there were several children playing in the Peacock Run community pool.  While the children were playing in the shallow end of the pool a 14 year old boy noticed that his 6 year old brother was in the deep end of the pool not moving.  The 14 year old pulled the 6 year old boy out of the pool.  Adults in the area heard the commotion. They went rendered aid to the distressed boy by administering CPR.

Port St. Lucie Police along with St. Lucie County Fire/Rescue arrived on scene shortly after.  Fire/Rescue transported the 6 year old boy by ground to a nearby hospital.  Medical personnel are tending to the 6 year old who is listed in critical condition.

 The 6 year old boy has been identified as 

Guyverson Perrie-Charles (DOB 10/30/10.

Sadly, he was  pronounced dead at the hospital.
