PSL Drive by shooters arrested!

On July 10, 2017, Port St. Lucie Police arrested 19 year old Vincenzo Anthony Monteleone  and 17 year old Brian Briggs. The charges were  aggravated battery with deadly weapon, shooting deadly missile into dwelling and discharging firearm from a vehicle.  Briggs was then also charged with possession of weapon or ammo by convicted felon.

Monteleone was taken to the St. Lucie County Jail for booking as Briggs was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.

The investigation began shortly after 2:00 am on July 10, 2017. The police were dispatched to the 1800 block of SW California. There was  a gunshot wound to an 18 year old man while he was in his bedroom.  Police were told that a white car drove by the house on SW California Boulevard, shooting several rounds at the house.  The 18 year old man was shot in the buttocks during the shooting. He was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
