PSL asking for help to ID Dollar General armed robbery suspect. 

On June 23, 2017 at around 9:35, Port St. Lucie Police went to Dollar General, located at 785 SW Paar Drive, for reports of an armed robbery.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect entered the store and went directly to the front cash register. Suspect brandished a handgun. He  told the clerk to open the register and give him all the money. Then, the  suspect jumped over the checkout counter and grabbed over $400.00 that was in the register.  After that he instructed the clerk to sit on the floor as he left the store.  During the robbery the suspect dropped his sunglasses and some of the coins he stole from the register.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’ tall, wearing a gray hoodie, dark blue hat, dark colored bandana, black pants, and black gloves.
