Port St Lucie Police are looking for several suspects who kidnapped a man, robbed him, then shot him in the head and left him for dead.
On Saturday, police were notified of a man on the side of the road at the intersection of McCarty and Newell Roads. He’d been robbed and stripped of his clothes.
He was identified as 26 year old Joseph Kiefer who said he had been kidnapped from his Stuart residence by three black men.
Kiefer suffered a gunshot wound to the back of his head however, the bullet did not penetrate his head.
Kiefer was airlifted to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center where he was treated for his wound and later released.
Kiefer told police that he does not know the suspects who were believed to have been driving a grey four door sedan.
