PBSO Bomb & Arson Unit Investigating Back Packs located at Navy Reserve Center

The PBSO Bomb and Arson Unit have declared this scene to be safe. Personal items were found in the back packs.

 

Deputies responded to suspicious person at the Navy Reserve Center located in the 1200 block of Marine Drive, WPB.  The suspicious person was located and detained without incident, however, the suspicious person was in possession of two back packs.

PBSO Bomb & Arson Unit are in route to investigate the contents of the back packs.

The Navy Reserve Center has been evacuated and Belvedere Road, eastbound and westbound lanes, has been shut down between Military Trail and Congress Ave, West Palm Beach.

More information will be released when it becomes available.
