Palm City: FHP seeks person of interest in fatal hit-and-run!

Investigators have identified a person of interest in a fatal hit-and-run crash on I-95.

45-year old Jason Nichols of Port St. Lucie is wanted for questioning in the crash that killed a motorcyclist. It happened May 1st in the northbound lanes of the highway near Palm City.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver of a 2000 black Nissan Frontier pickup truck hit 60-year-old Michael James and took off. James, of Port St. Lucie, died at the scene.

Repairs have already been made to the front end of the Nissan Frontier.  It still may have damage to the right front fender area.  Nichols has not been heard from since Monday morning.
