MCSO Air 1 nabs out-of-town boat motor thieves!
It’s a crime that has been costing Treasure Coast mariners thousands. Theft of boat motors. For weeks, devious thieves have been breaking into storage units up and down the Treasure Coast. They have been stealing high end boat motors from parked vessels.
Air 1 located three suspects attempting to dismantle a motor off of a boat at Storage Rental of America located at 8705 SE Federal Highway. When the thieves saw the light, they tried to take off.
26-year old Javoris Wynter of Miami, 41-year old Terone Watson of Goulds, Florida, and 42-year old Roberto Rodriguez of Homestead were arrested on multiple charges. They included Grand theft, possession of burglary tools, and burglary charges. All have criminal histories. Winter and Rodriguez have no bond. Watson, has a $50,000 bond.
