Martin County Mosquito Control preparing for first aerial spraying

Martin County Mosquito Control is getting ready for their first aerial spraying of the year.

If the weather holds up they plan on spraying approximately 71-thousand acres of land west of the Florida Turnpike, including Palm City and Indiantown.

The recent rains have alleviated the drought conditions.  They  have also provided a perfect opportunity for mosquitoes to quickly breed and have their population grow. You can find out more information on Mosquito Control, including a map with information on where spraying will occur, online at the Martin County Website.
