Jupiter: Uber driver arrested for kidnapping and sexual battery.
The Jupiter Police Department arrested Gary Kitchings on May 8th. for kidnapping and sexual battery on an adult female. The incident occurred on Sunday, May 7, 2017 around 2:00 a.m. after the victim called Uber for a ride home.
The Uber driver (Gary Kitchings) told the victim he had a gun. He said he would kill her if she did not do what he wanted. Kitchings then kidnapped and sexually battered the victim while in the vehicle and then again after arriving at the victim’s residence.
Kitchings finally left the victim’s residence and the victim was able to call 911 and report the incident.
Based on the facts of the case and investigation, the Jupiter Police Department had probable cause to arrest Gary Kitchings for kidnapping, sexual battery, and burglary.
