Lighthouse Sunset Tour     

Jun 14, 28 – 7:30 pm        Jul 5, 19 – 7:30 pm       Aug 2, 23 – 7:15 pm

Take in the spectacular sunset views and witness the Jupiter Light turning on to illuminate the night sky.  Visitors get an inside look at the nuts & bolts of a working lighthouse watchroom.  Tour time approximately 75 minutes, $15 Members, $20 Non-Members, RSVP required, Tickets online or call 561-747-8380 X101.  Tours are weather permitting.  Children must be at least 48” tall to climb the Lighthouse and accompanied by an adult.  www.jupiterlighthouse.org.

A howling good time and spectacular evening view of a full moon from the top of the tower! Tour time approximately 75 minutes, $15 Members, $20 Non-Members, RSVP required, Tickets online or call 561-747-8380 x101. Tours are weather permitting. Jupiter History Bring & Brag

Let’s get social in person! In the tradition of the Loxahatchee Lament, locals and visitors with historical anecdotes from “the old days,” fond memories, photos and family treasures can step up to the microphone and share their experiences growing up in Jupiter or treasured family vacation memories. Whether you are a descendent of our early pioneer families or you arrived in the post-WWII boom, the Museum waterfront backyard is the perfect venue for relaxing and sharing your history and experiences.  Free to the public-bring a beach chair. Hike Through History

Jun 3, Jul 1, Aug 5,   8:30-am-10:30am

Discover the topography and natural history of Jupiter’s National Conservation Lands historic site. This 2 mile trek passes through historic points of interest on the 120-acre Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area.  The hike departs from the flag pole at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum and is weather dependent.  Program is open to adults and children-minimum age 5, ages 13 & under must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18 years old.  Hiker’s footwear, active wear, a hat, and a full water bottle or canteen should be carried.  Admission is free but space is limited-RSVP required 561-747-8380 X101.  Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum, 500 Captain Armour’s Way, Jupiter, FL 33469.  www.jupiterlighthouse.org.

              

Lighthouse Story Time & Crafts for Kids

Join us under the Lighthouse Seminole Chickee Hut for story time & craft activity about Lighthouse Keepers, Florida History and People & Local Plants and Animals.  Moms & Dads, this is ideal for kids ages 8 and under. Please bring a small beach/picnic mat for your child.  Jun-Aug programs will be held in the Museum café. Twilight Yoga at the Light

Experience the serenity of Yoga with Mary Veal, Kula Yoga Shala,  

on the Lighthouse Deck at Sunset! Every Monday (time will vary monthly based on sunset.)  This is an all levels class and beginners are welcomed and encouraged! Offered by donation. Bring a yoga mat and a flashlight. Meet at the Museum 10 minutes prior to start time, class is weather dependent-please check website for updates and future start times. Lighthouse Book Club

Join Museum Staff in book discussions on all things Florida! Discover the surprisingly rich heritage of our State in both fiction and non-fiction.  Book Club meets the first Wednesday of every month in the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum West Hall.   Donation suggested.  Check our web calendar for Book reading schedule.
