Martin County Parks and Recreation will host a pre-school sports program at Halpatiokee Regional Park.
The county is partnering with Ignite Sports to provide the instructional programs to children ages 3-5.
The programs will be held Wednesday nights from 5:30 to 6:30 weather permitting.
Several sports will be taught, including Soccer, Kickball, and Basketball.
Each sport has it’s own 6-week program, and the cost is $80 per child for each program.
About Ignite
Ignite Sports provides sports classes in both public and private schools.
Certified coaches will come to your school or aftercare program and provide your child a fun and energetic class. Their programs are age appropriate (3 year-old and older) and non-competitive – all children get equal participation.
They create a curriculum and provide all equipment for any sport including
- soccer
- t-ball
- kickball
- ultimate frisbee
- flag football
- volleyball
- lacrosse
- touch rugby.
