Ft Pierce woman chases husband with knife over video.
A woman in Fort Pierce is accused of chasing her husband around their house with a butcher knife, all over video of a mystery woman.
The incident happened Tuesday night at the couple’s home on Deland Avenue.
A man told deputies he and his wife got into a fight over a clip of home security footage that showed a woman inside their house.
He said she chased after him with a knife, and that he was afraid she’d kill him. Maharanee Bivens,the wife, accused her husband of cheating on her after seeing the video of the mystery woman.
The man told deputies the woman on video was a friend’s girlfriend, visiting from Connecticut. Bivens denied chasing her husband with a knife.
Deputies arrested and charged the 48-year old Bivens with domestic aggravated assault. She’s being held at the St. Lucie County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
