FP Police investigating suspicious incident
Police in Fort Pierce are investigating a suspicious incident involving a woman and a young boy.
Investigators want to speak with a woman caught on surveillance video who they say may have tried to take a child.
Police say the woman approached a child standing next to his family car. It was parked behind a shopping plaza at North Causeway and US1 on Wednesday.
Fortunately, police said the child hopped into the car and locked the doors.
The woman tried to open the car door, but took off after she realized the doors were locked. She drove away in a white car.
Call 911 if you know anything about the woman or to report any similar incidents.
