Fort Pierce: Pregnant Woman & accomplice attempt to steal over $500 in groceries

A pregnant woman and her male accomplice tried to steal over $500 in groceries from a Fort Pierce Walmart. Police say 27-year old Joanna Dunbar and 30-year old Anthony Millnes entered the Walmart along Okeechobee Road and walked around the store selecting the same items. Millnes proceeded to check out and pay for all his items. After loading them into his vehicle, police say he went back into the store and handed Dunbar his receipt. She attempted to leave the Walmart with the unpaid items in her cart. Millnes attempted to flee in his vehicle when police showed up, but rear ended another shopper in the process. Authorities also found Dunbar to be in possession of nearly $12,000 in cash. Dunbar was charged with retail theft less than $5,000 and was booked at the St. Lucie County Jail after being cleared by medical professionals due to her pregnancy.
