Port St. Lucie’s annual Festival of Lights event, including a parade through Civic Center Place and tree lighting in Village Square, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 2 to 10 p.m. at the Civic Center.

Boys and girls can frolic and play in actual snow in the kids’ snow zone! They’ll also enjoy a small midway carnival. Ride tickets may be purchased for $1 each or you can ride unlimited with the purchase of a $20 wristband.

Residents and visitors will have the opportunity to sample local fare and do some holiday shopping among the arts and crafts vendors. Be sure to check out the Last Chance Gift Fest inside the Civic Center too.

Local dance groups will take center stage and perform throughout the day.

Watch the Parade of Lights as the North Pole-themed floats glide down Civic Center Place at 6 p.m. Santa will once again close the parade and be available afterwards to visit and take pictures.

Following the parade, gather round Village Square as the flurries float down and the countdown begins to light the beautiful tree. Don’t miss JessLee and her Rockin’ Country Band as they perform before and after the tree lighting.

The Civic Center is located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 1 and Walton Road.
