Armed Carjacking suspects charged with Felonies in Martin County.
The three teenagers who prompted an extensive manhunt throughout Palm City have been charged with felonies in Martin County. They face additional charges in Delray Beach.
The suspects are identified as 14-year old Damien Remy, 16-year old Curtis Johnson, and 17-year old Larry Clemons. The teens are from Boynton Beach.
17-year old Larry Clemons
The manhunt began in the early morning hours. The teens crashed the stolen vehicle they were driving near the Palm City exit of I-95. One suspect was captured immediately. The two other teens fled on foot. They attempted to hide in residential communities sparking an intense seven hour manhunt throughout Palm City.
16-year old Curtis Johnson
The trio carjacked a victim in Delray Beach before leading police on a pursuit into Martin County. The victim in the carjacking was injured. Detectives did recover a gun and ammunition near the Palm City crash scene.
14-year old Damien Remy
The teenagers were processed at the Martin County Jail, then transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice. Detectives in Delray Beach are expected to file additional felony charges stemming from that violent carjacking.
